The winches also come standard with a wireless remote control that can be wired directly to the winch or unplugged for trouble-free wireless operation. Smittybilt Gen2 X20 Comp Series winches feature a state-of-the-art specially-coated synthetic rope cable that will not kink, curl, or splinter--and it's resistant to UV rays and abrasions. They come with rope sleeve for the synthetic cable, an attached forged steel hook, high-grade competition billet aluminum fairlead, UV-resistant matte black textured finish, a larger clutch for easy control during gloved operations, oversized tie rod struts for maximum strength, and an inductive braking system that reduces heat for long-lasting performance.
